The advisory, also released in Spanish as "Aviso de Calor Extremo emitido por el Departamento de Salud del Municipio de Cicero," aims to inform and protect the community during periods of extreme temperatures.

Cook County Board President Toni Preckwinkle today unveiled the preliminary forecast for the County’s Fiscal Year 2025, showing a projected gap of $218.2 million – significantly reduced from the $409.6 million peak during the pandemic. The Village-wide 2024 MFT Asphalt Patching Program will commence on Thursday, June 20. Areas designated for patching have been marked. The contractor, J.A. Johnson Paving, may place "No Parking" signs to allow access to work areas and will notify any residents whose driveway entrances may be affected by this work. The asphalt patching program is scheduled to run through Friday, June 28, and is weather dependent.
