The Village of La Grange has announced openings for several positions across its departments.
The La Grange Fire Department is hiring a part-time Fire Inspector. According to the announcement, the role will support the department’s fire prevention objectives and work with the Fire Chief and Fire Prevention Bureau Captain to create and carry out a comprehensive inspection program. The position will also assist with fire prevention outreach and education.
The Finance Department is seeking a full-time Accounting Manager. The village is encouraging experienced finance professionals to apply for this leadership role, noting that the organization values innovation, professionalism, friendliness, and teamwork.
Additionally, the Police Department is looking for part-time Police Officers. The position is responsible for protecting the lives and property of La Grange residents through the enforcement of laws and ordinances. Under the supervision of Police Sergeants, these officers will perform general police work and traffic enforcement.
