President Larry Dominick attended the ribbon-cutting ceremony for Alexander’s Restaurant in Stickney, highlighting the significance of supporting local businesses in neighboring areas. “Every new business that opens its doors is a sign of growth and opportunity,” Dominick said. “Alexander’s Restaurant will not only provide great food, but it will also bring jobs and energy to Stickney and the surrounding area.”
The event brought together leaders from several municipalities, demonstrating regional cooperation. “I’m proud to stand here with our partners in Berwyn and Stickney,” Dominick added. “When our communities work together, we all benefit.”
Owners of Alexander’s Restaurant thanked community leaders for their support and expressed enthusiasm about serving families and residents throughout the region.
Also present at the ceremony were Cicero First Lady Diana Dominick, Town Clerk María Punzo-Arias, Cicero Fire Chief Jeff Penzkofer, Berwyn Mayor Robert Lovero, and Stickney Mayor Jeff Walik.
President Dominick reiterated his message in Spanish: “Cada nuevo negocio que abre sus puertas es una señal de crecimiento y de oportunidades,” dijo Dominick. “El Restaurante Alexander’s no solo ofrecerá excelente comida, también traerá empleos y energía a Stickney y a toda el área cercana.”
