Blythe Park Elementary School has started the planning phase for a new playground, which is expected to be completed by summer 2026. The school is seeking input from parents, neighbors, and community members as part of the design process. Meetings with DLA Architects are scheduled for Monday, September 8 at 8:15 a.m. and Tuesday, September 9 at 6:30 p.m.

Attendees of the Monday session should check in at the front office with a valid ID and enter through Door A (south doors) at 735 Leesley Road. For the Tuesday evening session, visitors are asked to use Door B (north doors). Both meetings will be held in Blythe Park’s Library on the lower level.

Students will have opportunities to discuss the project during school hours. The initiative aims to create a playground that benefits both Blythe Park students and the Riverside community in the long term.

"Help create a playground that will serve Blythe Park students and the Riverside community for years to come."
