The Riverside Sesquicentennial Committee has acknowledged the support of numerous sponsors who contributed to the community’s 150th anniversary celebrations. Organizers stated that these events and programs relied on sponsorships from local businesses, organizations, and individuals.
"These events, programs, and other Sesquicentennial opportunities would not be possible without the help from each and every sponsor," said representatives from the committee.
Sponsors were recognized in several categories. Flood Brothers and Riverside Bank were named as Forever Sponsors. Christopher B. Burke Engineering and Starbuds supported as 1875 Sesquicentennial Sponsors.
Other supporters included Clark Hill PLC, Filippini Law, Hitzeman Funeral Home, Knights of Columbus, and Lions Club under the 1975 Centennial Sponsors category. Dig Right In, Illinois Aggregation Consultants, Liv Companies, McAdam Landscaping, Orland Dental, Riverside Plumbing & Erin Wieland were listed among the 2025 Era Sponsors.
The committee also highlighted contributions from Dolejs Realty, Nicholas Jablonski, Metal Mites, Milad Nourahmadi, Sheila Gentile Group, and Dorothy Sikora as 150 Club Donors.
Festival Sponsors featured Dig Right In; State Representative Lisa Hernandez; Riverside Bank; Riverside Chamber of Commerce; Riverside Junior Women; and Riverside Swim Club. Soiree Sponsors included Centre Physical Therapy; Hitzeman Funeral Home; James Smigielski DDS; Jeff's Auto on Quincy; Riverside Township; Rory & Partners Real Estate Experts; Starbuds; and Wright Services Corporation.
For the Closing Ceremony Sponsors category: First American Bank; Hitzeman Funeral Home; Rosie's Tailor Shop; and Strobel Dentistry were recognized. Ivin's Funeral Home, Northwood Oaks Investments, and Riverside Garage sponsored the time capsule project.
In-kind sponsors such as Aunt Diana's Old Fashioned Fudge, Eris Brewery & Cider House, La Barra, Minuteman Press Lyons, Riverside Foods, RMarts, Something Borrowed Chicago, Kay Sordel, and Sweet Ride Bakery also provided support for the celebration.
