The Village has announced that its Annual Household Clean-Up Day will take place on Saturday, June 7. The event is organized each year to help residents dispose of various household items. Services for the clean-up day are provided by LRS.

Residents can discard a range of items, including clothing, draperies, books, furniture, scrap metal, and appliances. However, there are specific restrictions in place regarding what cannot be disposed of during this event. Items such as household garbage, electronics, landscape waste, liquids, tires, paint, batteries, medical waste, and construction and demolition debris are not eligible for disposal.

For those disposing of mattresses and mirrors or glass items, special instructions must be followed: "Mattresses must be plastic-wrapped and mirrors/glass must be unbroken or wrapped/boxed."

Participation in the clean-up day does not require any prior registration. Residents are reminded that all items intended for disposal should be placed at the curb by 7 am on the morning of collection day.
