The Riverside C4 Team is inviting participants of all ages to join the "150 Green Ideas" Photo Contest. This initiative is part of the celebration for Riverside's Sesquicentennial year. Participants are encouraged to submit photos that highlight eco-friendly actions in Riverside.
The contest revolves around a curated list of “150 Green Ideas,” which includes themes such as enjoying nature, being energy-efficient, and choosing to reuse. The full list can be accessed on the Village's website at https://www.riverside.il.us/744/150-Green-Ideas.
Winners will receive Sesquicentennial-themed merchandise and have their photos featured on the Village website and other 150th-themed items. Additionally, selected names and photos may be included in a Time Capsule set to be opened by Riverside residents in 2100.
Entries should be emailed to riversideC4Team@riverside.il.us by June 20, 2025.
