Oak Park Police Department issues updates on activity summaries and reporting procedures

The Oak Park Police Department posted several updates regarding recent police activities and community guidance through its official Twitter account in late July 2025.

On July 30, the department shared a link to their latest summary of police activity, stating, "The latest summary of police activity is now posted at https://t.co/Yt8SLofpcB. https://t.co/khIX1z4Akf".

Later that same day, the department provided instructions for residents on how to report parking violations or abandoned vehicles. The tweet read, "Residents can report an illegally parked or abandoned vehicle by calling the Police Department's non-emergency phone number at 708.386.3800 or by emailing police@oak-park.us. If a vehicle is determined to be abandoned, an officer will write a report, issue the vehicle a citation https://t.co/SihohG3XXv". This message outlined the process for addressing such complaints within the community.

On July 31, another update was issued regarding police activity reports: "The latest summary of police activity is now posted at https://t.co/J1CoZollpi. https://t.co/RVd41ktsrM".

The Oak Park Police Department regularly shares information about local law enforcement activities and public safety measures via social media channels as part of its ongoing communication efforts with residents.
