The Western Springs Police Department and the Department of Fire & EMS are offering an eight-week First Responder Citizen Academy. The program aims to give residents and business owners a closer look at the daily work of emergency response personnel in the Village.
The academy will run on Thursdays from September 11 to October 30, 2025, between 6 p.m. and 8 p.m. Sessions will be held at Village Hall, located at 740 Hillgrove Ave.
Participation is open to anyone aged 18 or older who lives or owns a business in Western Springs. There is no cost to attend. Registration details can be found online at wsprings.com/citizenacademy.
