Excessive nighttime light impacts human health, disrupts ecosystems, and contributes to climate change. In response, the Adler Planetarium’s Ken Walczak will deliver a presentation on the importance of preserving dark night skies and the restoration of natural darkness.

The event is scheduled for Monday, March 24, 2025, from 7 p.m. to 8 p.m., at Riverside Town Hall located at 27 Riverside Road, Room 4. The presentation is co-sponsored by the C4 Initiative and Riverside Public Library.

Prior to the presentation, the C4 Initiative will conduct its monthly meeting from 6 to 7 p.m. on March 24. This meeting is open to the public for those interested in learning more about their efforts.
