The Village of Brookfield is in the process of evaluating the feasibility and community interest in establishing a Recreation Center. This initiative follows an open house held last fall, where residents provided input on desired programs and potential sites for the center. The feedback from that event, along with data from both a statistically valid survey and an open survey, has led to further exploration.

An upcoming workshop is scheduled for Wednesday, January 22, from 6 to 7:30 p.m. at the Council Chamber of the Brookfield Village Hall, located at 8820 Brookfield Ave. During this session, attendees will have the opportunity to engage with several building program and site options through interactive stations.

At 6 p.m., representatives from Williams Architects and Hitchcock Design Group will deliver a presentation lasting approximately 15 to 20 minutes. This presentation will cover the progress made in the Community Recreation Center Feasibility Study so far.

From 6:30 to 7:30 p.m., participants can visit interactive stations designed to gather feedback on potential sites, core program elements, and preliminary building organization ideas.
