Westchester home prices rose in the third quarter of 2021

The median sale price of a home sold in the third quarter of 2021 in Westchester rose by $30,000 while total sales increased by 60.5%, according to BlockShopper.com.

From July through September of 2021, there were 130 homes sold, with a median sale price of $290,000 - a 11.5% increase over the $260,000 median sale price for the same period of the previous year. There were 81 homes sold in Westchester in the third quarter of 2020.

The median sales tax in Westchester for the most recent year with available data, 2019, was $4,948, approximately 1.7% of the median home sale price for the third quarter of 2021.
