Cicero Honors Connie Schullo on 104th Birthday with Celebratory Caravan

Cicero honored Connie Schullo on her 104th birthday with a celebratory caravan led by Town President Larry Dominick and various town departments. President Dominick expressed his excitement about celebrating Mrs. Schullo's milestone, highlighting her contributions to the community. He said, “Mrs. Schullo is a wonderful person and we are so excited to be able to celebrate her birthday today. She raised a wonderful family and has been a resident of Cicero for so many years. We wish her a wonderful birthday celebration and many, many more to come.”

The event included participation from the Senior Center, Police and Fire Department, and other agencies. Department heads and staff drove vehicles from their respective agencies to join in honoring Mrs. Schullo at her home. President Dominick, Senior Director Diana Dominick, Clerk Maria Punzo-Arias, Assessor Emilio Cundari, Collector Fran Reitz, and Trustees Victor Garcia, Bob Porod, and Blanca Vargas presented Mrs. Schullo with flowers and gifts during the celebration.

In Spanish, President Dominick reiterated the sentiment, stating, “La Sra. Schullo es una persona maravillosa y estamos muy emocionados de poder celebrar su cumpleaños hoy. Crió a una familia maravillosa y ha sido residente de Cícero durante tantos años. Le deseamos una maravillosa celebración de cumpleaños y muchas, muchas más por venir.”

The town of Cicero shared photos and a video of the heartwarming celebration on their Facebook page for those who were unable to attend the event in person.
