Berwyn-Cicero Masonic Lodge Honors Senior Director, County Commissioner, and Cicero Officials

The Berwyn-Cicero Masonic Lodge No. 839 recently held their annual "2024 Community Builders Award" ceremony to honor individuals who have made significant contributions to their community. During the event, several notable figures were recognized for their dedication and service.

Lodge Chairman Jose Villareal, along with other members, presented the awards during a Cicero Town Board meeting. Villareal expressed the significance of the awards, stating, "This is one of the many tributes we pay to the people who go above and beyond the call of duty for our communities."

One of the recipients, Senior Director Diana Dominick, was praised for her outstanding work at the Senior Center in Cicero. Villareal highlighted her dedication to planning activities and outings for senior citizens, acknowledging the support of Town President Larry Dominick and the Town of Cicero board.

Cook County Commissioner Frank Aguilar was commended for his advocacy in bringing essential services to the community. Villareal lauded Aguilar as a strong representative who fights for the rights and needs of the people.

Town Spokesman Ray Hanania was recognized for his effective communication of the town's achievements and for addressing misinformation. Hanania emphasized the importance of focusing on community services rather than political agendas.

Expressing gratitude for the honor, Commissioner Aguilar stated, "I am honored to receive this award and I will continue to fight for the rights of our residents." Senior Director Diana Dominick, surrounded by members of the Senior Center and her staff, humbly accepted the award, acknowledging the collaborative efforts that have contributed to the center's success.

Reflecting on the services provided to seniors, Mrs. Dominick noted the wide range of activities and programs offered at the Senior Center, making Cicero a top city for senior services in the Midwest.
