State Senate race: Republican Curran wins voter tally in Cook County

John Curran led Democrat Bridget M. Fitzgerald in votes cast in Cook County for the District 41 state Senate race, according to the latest vote count.

Curran appeared to outpace Fitzgerald by a margin of 11.1 percent on Tuesday in the county.
