Riverside Fire Department responded to 263 calls in 2016, according to data from the National Fire Incident Reporting System obtained by the West Cook News.
The calls in Riverside included 37 fires - 29 structure fires, five vehicle fires and three other fires.
In all, the department saw $50,000 in fire loss - or about $1,351 per fire.
The department also received 226 false calls, including two malicious calls and 224 other false calls.
