Celebrate Halloween at Smith Park on Thursday, October 31, from 4 PM to 8 PM. The event promises an evening of activities including food, bounce houses, hayrides, and games. A costume contest will be held with photos taken between 4 PM and 6 PM at the game tent. Trick-or-treating is scheduled from 3 PM to 7 PM.

Lyons partners with Strive Fitness for Spooky Shuffle 5K Walk/Run
The Village of Lyons is partnering with Strive Fitness to host the Spooky Shuffle 5K Walk/Run on Sunday, October 20. Participants are encouraged to wear their favorite costumes as they run or walk through the course. The event will begin at 9 AM, with check-in scheduled from 8 AM to 8:45 AM at Smith Park, located across from Lyons Village Hall.

Village Hall announces closure and garbage schedule changes for Labor Day
The Village Hall will be closed this Monday, September 2nd, in observance of Labor Day. There will be no garbage pick-up on Monday. All garbage pick-up will be pushed back one day, with Friday’s route being picked up on Saturday.

Fall clean-up scheduled for mid-September
Fall Clean-Up is scheduled for the week of Monday, September 16th through Friday, September 20th, on residents' usual garbage collection day. All bulk items should be placed out by 7 AM.
