The La Grange Fire Department has announced that it will conduct a live fire training exercise at Denning Park from November 19 to 21. The park is located across from LTHS South Campus on Willow Springs Road.
During the training, emergency personnel will be present in the area. Residents may see smoke and fire, but officials have stated that these activities are part of a planned training session.
"This live fire is for training purposes only," according to the department's statement.
The department is using a building within Denning Park for this exercise.
