The Village of Brookfield, in partnership with the Brookfield Chamber of Commerce, has announced its 2025 Holiday Celebration will take place on Saturday, December 6. The event is scheduled from 2:00 to 6:00 p.m. and will be held throughout the Downtown and Broadway Avenue Business Districts, including Village Hall and Grossdale Station.

The celebration features a variety of activities for families and community members. Highlights include a Kris Kringle Market at Village Hall, visits with Santa and Mrs. Claus at Irish Times from 2:00 to 5:00 p.m., a petting zoo, live woodcarving demonstrations, balloon twisting, character meet-and-greets, giant snow globe photo opportunities, family crafts and games. Free courtesy trolleys will be available for attendees.

The festivities will conclude with a community tree lighting ceremony at Grossdale Station at 5:30 p.m.

Organizers expressed their enthusiasm for the event in a statement: "Bring your family, friends, and holiday spirit—this is a celebration you won’t want to miss!"

Several local businesses are supporting the event as sponsors. Groot Industries Inc., Irish Times, Hancock Engineering, and Cantata Adult Life Services are listed as Winter Wonderland Sponsors. Fill My Jar, Merrick Animal Hospital, Mirobolant Hair Salon, Winnie's Playroom, and Burger Antics are recognized as Gift of Giving Tree Sponsors.
