The Village of Lyons has announced that Village Hall will be closed on Monday, September 1 in observance of Labor Day. In addition to the closure, there will be changes to the garbage collection schedule for the week.
According to the announcement, "There will be no garbage pick-up on Monday. All garbage pick-up will be pushed back one day, with Friday’s route being picked up on Saturday."
Residents are advised to plan accordingly for both municipal services and waste collection during the holiday week.
