Concrete pavement repairs are set to begin on Wednesday, September 25, in the parking stalls along the south side of Hillgrove Avenue between Wolf Road and Howard Avenue. The work will be handled by Martam Construction, Inc., with oversight from the Village Engineering Services Department.
The project involves repairing concrete pavement and replacing concrete curbs and gutters. Parking stalls on the affected blocks will be closed for an estimated two to three weeks and will reopen as soon as possible once work is complete.
According to the Village, "South side parking stalls on these blocks will be closed for approximately 2-3 weeks, and re-opened as soon as possible."
No full street closures are planned during this period. However, motorists may encounter temporary delays due to ongoing construction activities. Parking restrictions for the south side of Hillgrove Avenue will take effect starting Wednesday.
Construction noise is expected only during approved working hours—7:30 am to 8:00 pm, Monday through Friday—with no weekend work anticipated. Efforts will be made by the project team to limit dust and dirt spread throughout the construction process.
Mail delivery and garbage collection services will continue without interruption during the repairs.
