Cantata will host its Centennial Festival on Saturday, September 13, from 2 to 9:30 p.m. at its campus. The event is free and open to the public, offering performances and activities for both families and adults. Maggie Speaks will headline the festival with a performance starting at 7:30 p.m.

Festival attendees can use free parking provided by Brookfield Zoo Chicago, which has donated its north lot for the event. Entry to Cantata’s campus is accessible from this lot, located on Golfview Avenue just north of 31st Street.

Activities for children and families will run from 2 to 6 p.m., including inflatables, balloon artists, a magician, face painters, and visits with LCC K9 Comfort Dogs. Musical entertainment begins at 2:30 p.m. with Leonardo’s Music for Kids, followed by Just for Fun at 4 p.m., and GRL Power at 5:30 p.m.

Cycle Brookfield’s “slow ride” bikers are scheduled to arrive around 2:30 p.m., after departing from Brookfield Village Hall at 2 p.m. Riders of all skill levels are invited to participate in the approximately four-mile route. Cycle Brookfield will offer bike valet service upon arrival.

Food trucks such as GP Italiano, Little Wolf, Mi Taquito, Beach Avenue BBQ, Rainbow Cone, and Daisy's Treats & Bakery will serve food from 3 to 9 p.m. Beverage stations will be available with beer, wine, soft drinks, and water.

The afternoon includes announcements of winners for Cantata’s coloring competition and a raffle drawing at 7 p.m., which supports the senior living community.

VIP tickets are available for $75 and include preferred parking, upfront seating for the mainstage concert, and an exclusive tram ride around Brookfield Zoo Chicago. More information about tickets can be found at https://cantata.rsvpify.com/.
