The Village Board of the Village of Brookfield was called to order on Monday, April 14, 2025, at 6:30 PM, in the Edward Barcal Hall 8820 Brookfield Avenue Brookfield, IL 60513, with the following members present:

PRESENT: Village President Michael Garvey, Village Clerk Brigid Weber, Trustee Edward Cote, Trustee Nicole Gilhooley, Trustee Jennifer Hendricks, Trustee Kathryn Kaluzny, Trustee Kit Ketchmark, and Trustee Julie Narimatsu

8 MANAGERS REPORT

a) Village Manager Tim Wiberg announced that the Village has received an increased Cook County Community Development Block Grant (CDBG) award of $400,000, up from $200,000, for the 2025 Street Improvement Project for Blanchan Avenue. Tim Wiberg also introduced Lauren Moore as the new Public Works Director. Tim Wiberg provided details on the upcoming 2025 Street Improvement Project. Tim Wiberg noted that the project will involve detours and encouraged residents to stay informed through the Village’s website, social media platforms, and e-newsletters.
