As the year 2024 concludes, the Village of Riverside Board of Trustees has expressed gratitude to all village staff and volunteers for their contributions throughout the year. The acknowledgment includes 625 volunteers from the Public Works Department, 120 from the Parks and Recreation Department, and 56 Advisory Board Members and Commissioners.

"If you are one of these individuals, please know that your time, knowledge and efforts are not only appreciated, but necessary to the successful operations of the Village," stated the board.
