Stainless Machinez Motorcycle Club is set to co-host its third annual toy drive with the Town of Cicero. The event, aimed at bringing joy to families in need during the holiday season, will take place on Saturday, November 30, 2024.

Ismael, the town's chaplain and advocate for community initiatives, introduced the event at a recent board meeting. He stated, “The reason I’m here today is that this will be our third year collaborating with one of Cicero’s social clubs for this toy drive. This Saturday, volunteers will drive around town collecting toys, which will be delivered to the 35th Street Park. These toys will support the many events our town hosts for the community.”

Emphasizing community unity during the holidays, Ismael added, “Coming together with the town for this effort is a beautiful way to serve those less fortunate.” He expressed gratitude for partnerships that enable community service.

Israel Santana, a business owner in Cicero and co-founder of Stainless Machinez, expressed his happiness about supporting this initiative for three years. “I’m very happy this is our third year supporting this effort. Helping families in need is a blessing,” he said.

Ruben Aragon, another co-founder of Stainless Machinez, highlighted their mission beyond motorcycles: “Seven years ago, we started this club not just for the fun of motorcycles but to make a difference in our community. This toy drive is one of the most important things we do.”

The toy drive aims to bring joy to children across Cicero and hopes for significant donations from participants. Ruben Aragon encouraged community involvement by saying: “We hope to see many of you there. The more toys we collect, the happier we can make the kids.”

Residents seeking more information about participating in or contributing to the toy drive are encouraged to visit the Town of Cicero Facebook page.
