Commuter Lot 8 Green Parking Lot construction continued last week. The General Contractor (MYS) completed the installation of the sidewalk and stairs.
This week, the contractor will complete paving the west entrance curb and sidewalk followed by brick installation. Brick installation will take six to eight days to complete.
The project is expected to be completed by mid-October.
Residents are reminded to use the west staircase to access the Metra platform. All other staircases are within the construction work zone and are closed until the project is completed.
The Village of Riverside acknowledges the disruption and inconvenience caused by this project.
