The Village of River Forest has reiterated its commitment to being a welcoming community for all residents, businesses, and visitors, explicitly condemning any form of hateful speech or discrimination. This statement follows a recent incident involving two business owners where such interactions reportedly occurred.

The Police Department has made an arrest after reviewing new video footage published by a local news outlet. Authorities have stated that they will continue to investigate any hateful or discriminatory actions and pursue all appropriate charges.

"The Village of River Forest is a welcoming community for all residents, businesses and visitors, and does not condone any hateful speech or discrimination," the official statement read.
