Visit Oak Park Presentation to Village of Brookfield
Executive Director Annie Coakley of Visit Oak Park makes a presentation detailing the mission of the tourism bureau and destination promotion. The 2024 approach of Visit Oak Park includes increased metrics and engagement. Examples of content development such as food and farmers market guides are provided. SEO growth and information is provided from the last 12 months. Recent media appearances and social media engagement are discussed. Visit Oak Park will go through a renaming and rebranding initiative. Comments and questions are made by President Garvey and Trustees Ketchmark, Gilhooley, Kaluzny, and Hendricks.
Discussion Regarding Changes to §12-97 of the Village Code Related to Plat of Survey Submittals with Building Permit Applications
Village Planner Kate Portillo provides some background on required documents for permit application review, including plats of survey. Examples of what surrounding communities require for age of plats of survey are a range that goes back approximately one year. Proposed changes to the code to permit plats of surveys be five years old showing as-built conditions are discussed. Comments and questions are made by President Garvey and Trustees Cote, Hendricks, Ketchmark, Kaluzny, and Gilhooley.
