Village of Broadview President and Board of Trustees met April 25

I. CALL TO ORDER

The Regular Board Meeting of Thursday, April 25, 2024 was called to order by Mayor Thompson at 7:12 p.m., in the Council Chambers at 2350 South 25th Avenue, Broadview, IL 60155.

ROLL CALL

Upon roll call by Kevin McGrier, Village Clerk, the following answered Present: Trustee(s), S. Armour, J. Shelby

A. Senior (REM), P. Chao-Malave, J. Abraham, Mayor Thompson Absent: J. Miller,

There being a quorum the meeting was called to order.

PLEDGE OF ALLEGIANCE TO FLAG

Everyone recited the Pledge of Allegiance to the Flag of the United States of America.

PLEDGE OF CIVILITY

Clerk McGrier recited the Pledge of Civility

MOMENT OF SILENCE

Everyone joined in a moment of silence in honor of the late Honorable Clerk Karen Yarbrough

III. NEW BUSINESS:

A. AN ORDINANCE ADOPTING THE ANNUAL BUDGET FOR THE VILLAGE OF BROADVIEW, COUNTY OF COOK, STATE OF ILLINOIS.

B. AN ORDINANCE AMENDING TITLE 1, CHAPTERS 5, 6, AND 7 OF THE BROADVIEW VILLAGE CODE OF ORDINANCES REGARDING THE SALARIES, BENEFITS AND TIME COMMITMENTS OF CERTAIN ELECTED OFFICIALS IN THE VILLAGE OF BROADVIEW, COUNTY OF COOK, STATE OF ILLINOIS.
