Discussion of Text Amendments to § 56-199 Sewer and § 56-311 Cross Connection and Control Inspection and Maintenance of the Village Code

Public Works Director Vincent Smith provides some background information on the text amendments to match the MWRD Watershed Ordinance as well as removing the vendor listed in the code. Comments are made by President Garvey.

Discussion About Amending Various Sections of the Village Code Pertaining to Advisory Commissions and Committees

Management Analyst Bob Uphues lists the advisory commissions and committees listed in the code that are no longer active or are redundant to current advisory commissions and committees. Examples include the Planning, Zoning, and Economic Development Committee (PZED). The Fair Housing Advisory Committee would be impacted from any action taken by the Village Board to remove the Planning, Zoning, and Economic Development Committee.
