Village President Michael Garvey, Village Clerk Brigid Weber, Trustee Kit Ketchmark, Trustee Kathryn Kaluzny, Trustee Edward Cote, Trustee Julie Narimatsu, and Trustee Nicole Gilhooley  

MEMBERS ABSENT: Trustee Jennifer Hendricks

Discussion of a request for Text Amendments to Chapter 62 Zoning for the Land Use of Smoke and Vape Business 

Village Planner Kate Portillo provides some background on the request for Text Amendments to Chapter 62 Zoning for the Land Use of Smoke and Vape Business. Context is provided in regard to the actions of the Committee of the Whole and the Planning and Zoning Commission. Comments and questions are made by President Garvey and Trustees Ketchmark, and Cote. Village Attorney Adam Durkin responds to questions asked by the Committee of the Whole.  

Discussion of a Potential Public Art Mural Program and Related Text Amendments 

Village Planner Kate Portillo explains the difference in the definition of signage compared to a public art mural. The purpose of the public art mural program is discussed. How surround communities approve public art murals is discussed. The proposed districts where public art murals would be allowed is shown.  

Proposed rules, application process, application requirements, and approval standards regarding public art murals are listed. Questions and comments are made by President Garvey and Trustees Gilhooley, Kaluzny, Cote, Narimatsu, and Ketchmark.
