City of Northlake City Council met June 12.

The meeting was called to order at 7:00 p.m.

Mayor Sherwin presented the minutes of the city council meeting held on May 15, 2023. Alderman Patti made a motion to accept the minutes of the city council meeting held on May 15, 2023; seconded by Alderman Grochowski. Mayor Sherwin asked if there were any additions or corrections. Mayor Sherwin called for a voice vote. All were in favor.

Alderman Feldmann made a motion to approve; seconded by Alderman Patti. Mayor Sherwin called for the roll.

Alderman Patti made a motion to approve the Engineer’s Recommendation to Award the Bid to Herlihy Mid-Continent Company in the amount of $924,346.07 for the Hirsch Street Bridge Replacement Project; seconded by Alderman Johnson. Mayor Sherwin called for the roll.

Alderman Straube made a motion to go into Executive Session; seconded by Alderman Grochowski. Mayor Sherwin called for a voice vote. All were in favor.

A resident had concerns about a couple of items which were addressed by the Council; another resident noted the improv show at City Hall went well and the next show would be July 14th.
There being no further business, Alderman Straube made a motion to adjourn; seconded by Alderman Patti. Mayor Sherwin called for a voice vote. All were in favor.
