Village of Franklin Park Fire & Police Commission met Nov. 10.
Here are the minutes provided by the commission:
Call to order: The meeting for the Fire & Police Commission was called to order by Commissioner Souchet at 6:00 pm.
Roll Call / Quorum: Present is Commissioner Maritza Souchet, Commissioner Irene Herrera, Commissioner Guillermo Rios and Secretary Margarita Whaley. Also present Fire Chief Mark Stewart.
Commissioner Souchet made a motion to go into Executive Session to look over background checks on the fire candidates with a second from Commissioner Herrera at 6:02. All in favor.
Commission Souchet made a motion to come out of Executive Session at 6:16, with a second by Commissioner Herrera. All in favor.
Commissioner Souchet made a motion to move forward with a poly & psych & village physical (if good on poly & psych) for the following candidates: Arnel Sinanagic & William Johnson, with a job offer to follow all testing going well. Seconded by Commissioner Herrera. All in favor.
Adjournment: Motion to adjourn at 6:16 pm made by Commissioner Souchet and seconded by Commissioner Herrera with all in favor.
