City of Northlake Finance & Rules Committee of the Whole met May 2.

Here are the minutes provided by the committee:

Mayor Sherwin called for the roll.

ROLL CALL:

The committee reviewed the minutes of the April 18, 2022 meeting. Alderman Patti made a motion to approve the minutes of the April 18, 2022 meeting; seconded by Alderman Grochowski. Mayor Sherwin called for a voice vote. All were in favor. The minutes were approved.

Mayor Sherwin presented the Warrants and Vouchers. Alderman Patti made a motion to pay the Warrants and Vouchers; seconded by Alderman Feldmann. Mayor Sherwin called for the roll. All were in favor. The motion carried.

Mayor Sherwin presented the Commission Expenditures. Alderman Patti made a motion to pay the Commission Expenditures; seconded by Alderman Grochowski. Mayor Sherwin called for the roll. All were in favor. The motion carried.

Mayor Sherwin opened a discussion to ratify Resolution R-08-2022, which was originally passed at the City Council meeting on April 18, 2022. Alderman Patti made a motion to ratify; seconded by Alderman Grochowski. Mayor Sherwin called for a voice vote. All were in favor. The motion carried.

Mayor Sherwin opened a discussion to approve Resolution R-09-2022; A Resolution Approving Application for Community Project Funding in the City of Northlake, Illinois. Alderman Patti made a motion to approve; seconded by Alderman Feldmann. Mayor Sherwin called for a voice vote. All were in favor. The motion carried.

Mayor Sherwin opened a discussion to approve Resolution R-10-2022; A Resolution Approving a Collective Bargaining Agreement Between the City of Northlake and the Metropolitan Alliance of Police Chapter 306 Police & Sergeants. Alderman Patti made a motion to approve; seconded by Alderman Straube. Mayor Sherwin called for the roll. All were in favor. The motion carried.

Mayor Sherwin opened a discussion to approve Ordinance O-08-2022; An Ordinance Regulating Mobile Food Vehicles and Amending Title 3 of the Northlake City Code. This will allow food trucks to operate only at festivals. Alderman Patti made a motion to approve; seconded by Alderman Feldmann. Mayor Sherwin called for the roll. All were in favor. The motion carried.

Mayor Sherwin opened a discussion to approve the 2023 Infrastructure Program. Alderman Grochowski made a motion to approve; seconded by Alderman Patti. Mayor Sherwin called for a voice vote. All were in favor. The motion carried.

Alderman Patti made a motion to go into Executive Session to discuss real estate; seconded by Alderman Gonzalez. Mayor Sherwin called for a voice vote. All were in favor. The motion carried.

There being no further business, Alderman Straube made a motion to adjourn; seconded by Alderman Patti. Mayor Sherwin called for a voice vote. All were in favor. The motion carried.
