A. FINANCE AND SPECIAL EVENTS COMMITTEES (Mr. Johnson, Chair)
1. Mr. Johnson Mr. Johnson Stated That Comptroller David Gonzalez Will Be Going Over The Monthly Financial During Committee Reports
2. Mr. Johnson Announced That The Dates For The Carnical And Entertainment Will Be Thursday, June 09 Through 12, More Details To Follow
B. WATER AND SEWER/FLEET MAINTENANCE COMMITTEE (Ms. Avitia, Chair)
1. Ms. Avitia Reported There Have Been 5 Water Main Breaks And 2 Service Leak
2. Ms. Avitia Reported The Heaters Failed At Both King Street Pump Station And The Water/Sewer Garage, Both Have Been Replaced By Our Village Contractor And Are Back In Service
3. Ms. Avitia Reported The Utilities Division Started Receiving Phone Calls For Frozen Water Lines, With The Warmer Temperatures The Frost Line Will Actually Go Deeper And It Is Important To Let You Water Trickle And Open Up Outside Wall Cabinet Doors
4. Ms. Avitia Reported Pump Number 2 At 17th Sanitary Lift Station Pulled And Was Sent Out For Repair
5. Ms. Avitia Reported 31 Service Calls Completed For High Water Bill Or Leak Detection, 21 Water Meter Tele Coder Heads Replaced, And Two Water Meter Bodies
6. Ms. Avitia Reported 169 Phone Calls And 245 Emails Received For The Water/Sewer Division
7. Ms. Avitia Reported Water Billing And Collection Received 231 Emails And 172 Phone Calls. Turned Off 7 Water Service Accounts Do To Being Delinquent. Started With 47 Accounts. The 7 Accounts Were Either Vacant, Or Owner Tenant Income Property And Have Not Responded To Any Of The Door Tagging Or Letters Sent Out, Or Bank Properties
C. POLICE AND FIRE COMMITTEE (Mr. Ruhl, Chair)
1. Mr. Ruhl Stated That He Did Not Have A Report From The Fire Department
2. Mr. Ruhl Congratulated The Newly Sworn Officer, Marek Gorzkowicz As Franklin Park Police Officer 3. Mr. Ruhl Congratulated Fire Fighter Lieutenant Chris Ciolino, Who Was Recognized By The Mutal Aid Box Alarm System, Known As Mabas, Who Responded To The Call For Help After The Devastation Of Hurricane Ida In Louisiana
D. STREETS, ALLEYS AND FLEET MAINTENANCE (Mr. Ybarra, Chair)
1. Mr. Ybarra Reported Snow Events And Removal Has Keep Staff Busy, First Snow Event On 1/24/22, We Received 2.4 Inches, The Second Snow Event On 1/28/22, We Received 3.3 Inches, The Third Snow Event We Received 5.8 Inches, The Police Department Was A Huge Help With Ticketing And Getting Cars Removed
2. Mr. Ybarra Reported Staff Received A Total Of 410 Phone Calls And 397 Emails Concerning Streets And Sanitation And Snow Removal Related Issues
3. Mr. Ybarra Reported Fleet Division Has Been Real Busy With Vehicle Repairs, 2 Building Department Repairs And One Pm Maintenance, Police Had 13 Vehicle Repairs, 3 Pm Maintenances, And Utilities Had 43 Vehicle Repairs And 1 Pm Maintenance
E. PROPERTY, PLANNING, ZONING, AND BUILDING COMMITTEE (Ms. Special, Chair)
1. Ms. Special Reported The Community Development Staff Has Been Working With The Cook County Bureau Of Economic Development And Chicago Cook Workforce Partnership On A Grant Application For The Economic Development Administration’s Good Jobs Challenge, The Staff’s Involvement In The Application Addresses The Challenges That Communities Are Facing With Regard To Employment, Workforce Development, And Career Pathways In The Industrial Sector
2. Ms. Special Reported From The Building Department 27 Contractors Applied And Registered For Licenses, 28 Building Permits, 09 Electrical Permits, 2 Dumpster, And 4 Fire Permits Were Applied For, 14 Property Closings For Residential And Commercial And 8 New Businesses Applied For Occupancy And 7 New Businesses Were Issued Occupancy Certificates
F. HUMAN RESOURCES, SUSTAINABLE PRACTICES AND SENIOR SERVICES COMMITTEE (Mr. Hagerstrom, Chair)
1. Mr. Hagerstrom Announced That The First Blood Drive Of The Year Will Be Held On Friday, March 4 From 3pm To 7pm In The Police Station Community Room

1. Village Comptroller, David Gonzalez Briefly Went Over The November 30, 2021 Reports, Which Is Seven Months Into The Fiscal Year, The General Fund Is 5 Million Dollars Better Than This Time Around, Things Are Getting Back To Normal, Property Taxes We Are At 1.4 More Collections
2. Village Comptroller, David Gonzalez Stated That The Village Received 1.5 Million From Covid Relief Funds
