On August 4, 2025, the department posted, "The latest summary of police activity is now posted at https://t.co/DuKwsyR5gM. https://t.co/pT3CEKTID7". The following day, on August 5, 2025, another update read, "The latest summary of police activity is now posted at https://t.co/b7XLE3CgId. https://t.co/nZV5sDNNd7".
In addition to these updates, the department announced a community engagement initiative. On August 5, 2025, it tweeted: "National Night Out is here! Join us for a free community celebration from 5 to 8 p.m. tonight (Aug. 5) on the south lawn behind Village Hall, 123 Madison St. There will be bounce houses, music, face painting, refreshments and more!
