The Oak Park Police Department recently shared updates and announcements through its official Twitter account, including the posting of police activity summaries and details about a community event.

On August 4, 2025, the department posted, "The latest summary of police activity is now posted at https://t.co/DuKwsyR5gM. https://t.co/pT3CEKTID7". In addition to these updates, the department announced a community engagement initiative. On August 5, 2025, it tweeted: "National Night Out is here!
