Oak Park-River Forest Chamber of Commerce issued the following announcement on Jan. 21.
"According to recent press reports, it is anticipated that Illinois Governor JB Pritzker will issue an executive order that will shift suburban Cook County to Tier I mitigation requirements as early as Saturday, January 23, 2021, which allow restaurants to resume indoor dining on a limited basis.
Until the Governor issues his order, we are not aware of the specifics of what will be allowed. If Governor Pritzker issues such an order, it will be available at the following link: https://www2.illinois.gov/government/executive-orders. The Village of Oak Park continues to follow Governor Pritzker’s requirements contained in his executive orders and we will continue to monitor whether a new order is issued."
