I. CALL TO ORDER
The Regular Board Meeting of Monday, August 5th, 2019 was called to order by Mayor Thompson at 7:32 p.m., in the Council Chambers at 2350 South 25th Avenue, Broadview, IL 60155.

There being a quorum the meeting was called to order.

Everyone remained standing and recited the Pledge of Allegiance to the Flag of the United States of America.

• Mayor Thompson mentioned Senator Lightford’s Grandparents raising Grandchildren nominations call 708-343-7444 for more information
• Mayor Thompson mentioned the Proviso Township 3rd Annual Senior Citizen Day Wednesday Aug 21, 2019 10AM – 2PM located at Proviso Township Office 4565 Harrison in Hillside, IL.
• Mayor Thompson mentioned we are collecting ROBOCALL info at the event
• Mayor Thompson sends condolences to Westchester Fire Department in honor of Rich Mahoney #48 in his passing
• Mayor reminded everyone that school is in session, so drive with caution.
• Mayor mentioned her daughter Sydnei, as well as Charisma (Trustee Miller’s daughter) and Valencia (Trustee Horne’s daughter) would also be returning college students.
