City of Northlake Community Events and Affairs Committee met June 11.

The meeting was called to order at 6:34 pm Present: Kary & Diane Sampson, Tim Rail, Rick Chillemi, Pat Pionto

Pat made a motion to approve the minutes from the May 2019 meeting, seconded by Tim. All in favor, the motion carried.
Old Business
NEW BUSINESS -
Rick Chillemi has moved out of Northlake and can no longer be on the CEAC. After so many years of service, he will be missed, Rick's last event will be Northlake Days. Diane will be looking for a replacement.
Chicago Dog Outing: This event has been cancelled.
We are looking to host a Summer concert in August. Diane will hire a band that plays Spanish/Hispanic music.
Next year – 2020:
We would like to hold 4 summer concerts - June, July, August, September. We will be looking to schedule a Jazz Band, Country Band, Rock Band, and Hispanic Band. They would play for 2 hours on a Wednesday in the middle of the month at the Willis Gazebo. We would also ask Joe Trevino "the Taco Guy" to attend these events and sell food.
Tim made a motion to adjourn, seconded by Diane. Meeting adjourned at 7:47 pm.
