Hillside home prices rise in September 2017

The median sale price of a home sold in September 2017 in Hillside rose by $62,000 while total sales increased by 9.1%, according to BlockShopper.com.

In September 2017, there were 12 homes sold, with a median sale price of $197,500 - a 45.8% increase over the $135,500 median sale price for the same period of the previous year. There were 11 homes sold in Hillside in September 2016.

The median sales tax in Hillside for 2017 was $4,251. In 2016, the median sales tax was $3,728. This marks an increase of 14%. The effective property tax rate, using the median property tax and median home sale price as the basis, is 2.2%.
