City of Berwyn issued the following announcement on March 29.
Collection of yard waste will begin April 1st and goes through December 31st for residential properties in Berwyn served by Waste Management.
• Container Setout Instructions
Place yard waste out by 6 a.m. on pickup days. Keep at least four feet from parked cars and other obstacles that may prevent Waste Management team members from picking it up.
• Service Instructions & Limitations
No limbs larger than 3 inches in diameter. Bundles must be tied and less than 4ft in length, 2ft in diameter and 50lbs.
• Acceptable and Non-Acceptable Materials
Acceptable items include grass clippings, leaves, tree branches (broken into a manageable length), and brush. Non-acceptable items include dirt, stone, concrete, rock.
