Lyons village trustee candidate Patricia Alonzi returns $1,000 contribution from Zupa

The campaign committee of Lyons village trustee candidate Patricia Alonzi, United Citizens Party, returned a $1,000 contribution from Zupa on Feb. 10, according to the Illinois State Board of Elections.

Candidates sometimes refuse or return contributions because they do not want their campaign to be affiliated with the donor. Zupa has not made any other contributions to Patricia Alonzi in the past 12 months.
