Democratic Brian Sexton's election campaign committee, Friends of Brian Sexton, spent $13,549 in the first quarter, according to committee expenditure records obtained from the Illinois State Board of Elections (ISBE).

Sexton's committee spent the most on yard signs in the quarter, with 62.1% of this total ($2,250) going to Breaker Press in Chicago. Table 1 below shows the distribution of how Sexton's committee spent its money in the first quarter.
