I. Pledge Of Allegiance

II. Call To Order: President Pedersen called to order the Board of Trustees of the Village of Franklin Park in regular session at 7:00 p.m.

III. Roll Call; Establishment Of Quorum

Village Clerk Irene Avitia called the roll:

Present: Trustees Mr. Ybarra, Mr. Johnson, Ms. McLean, Mr. Caporusso, Ms. Special, and Mr. Ruhl. The Village Clerk declared a quorum was present.

Legal Representation Present: Joe Montana, Village Attorney

Staff Members Present: Lisa Anthony (Health and Human Resources Director), Frank Grieashamer (Treasurer), Pete Cajigas (Director, Department of Building), Joe Lauro (Utilities Commissioner), Director of Police Mike Witz, Chief William Brehm (Fire Department), Cynthia Perez (Deputy Comptroller), Deputy Chief Phil Ruch (Police Department), Nick Walny (Community Development Assistant)

1. Ms. Mclean Encouraged Flu Shots, Still Not Too Late

2. Ms. Mclean Reported On The Fire Department Fill The Boot Campaign

3. Ms. Special And Ms. Mclean Reported On The Christmas Decorating Contest For Best Decorated House. 3 Winners Will Receive A Certificate And A Culver’s Gift Card. Third Place Winner 35 Pandora, Second Place 2724 Riverside And First Place 3629 Emerson

Motion To Approve The Proposal From Praedium Valuation Group, 3847 North Lincoln, Chicago, Illinois, For An Appraisal Report To Determine The Market Value Of Village Owned Property At 3010 North Mannheim Road In An Amount Not To Exceed $1,800.00, And Authorize The Required Officers And Officials Of The Village To Execute The Necessary Documents And Undertake Such Action To Effectuate Same

Motion To Approve The Proposal From Praedium Valuation Group, 3847 North Lincoln, Chicago, Illinois, For An Appraisal Report To Determine The Market Value Of Village Owned Property At 9380 Chestnut (Former Lombard Street) In An Amount Not To Exceed $1,600.00, And Authorize The Required Officers And Officials Of The Village To Execute The Necessary Documents And Undertake Such Action To Effectuate Same

Motion To Approve The Proposal From Prs Consulting, Ltd, 10401 South Kedzie, Chicago, Illinois For An Appraisal Report To Determine The Market Value Of Granting Three Easements On Martens Street In An Amount Not To Exceed $4,500.00, And Authorize The Required Officers And Officials Of The Village To Execute The Necessary Documents And Undertake Such Action To Effectuate Same

7. Motion To Approve A Tag Day For The Fire Department “Fill The Boot” Illinois Fire Safety Alliance Campaign For May 3, 4, And 5, 2018, At Grand Avenue And Mannheim Road

Motion made by Ms. McLean, seconded by Mr. Caporusso to pass the Consent Agenda Roll Call: Ayes –Ms. McLean, Mr. Johnson, Mr. Caporusso, Ms. Special, Mr. Ybarra, and Mr. Ruhl. Nay – 0. Absent – 0. Abstain – 0.

Motion made by Mr. Ybarra, seconded by Ms. McLean and Mr. Caporusso to go into Executive Session for Collective Bargaining Negotiations Matters 5 ILCS 120/2(c)(2) at 7:28 p.m. Roll Call: Ayes – Mr. Caporusso, Ms. McLean, Mr. Ruhl, Mr. Ybarra, Ms. Special, and Mr. Johnson. Nay – 0. Absent –0. Abstain – 0.

Returned From Closed Session At 8:15 p.m.

Village Clerk, Irene Avitia, stated to let the record reflect that all members returned

No action was taken in Closed Session
