Bellwood trustees discuss Public Works' request for new garbage truck

At a meeting this week, the Bellwood Village Board discussed the Public Works Department's request for a new garbage truck.

Along with the mayor of Bellwood, the board of trustees acts as the village’s corporate authority and exercises municipal powers that have not been specifically delegated to another office or board in the municipality. Bellwood’s six trustees form the legislative body. They are elected from the village at large to four-year terms.

SEPTEMBER 12, 2016

The Village Board of the Village of Bellwood will conduct a special board meeting on Monday, September 12, 2016, at 4:00 p.m. in the Village Board Room at 3200 Washington Boulevard, Bellwood, IL 60104-1984 for the purposes of considering the following agenda:

1 Call to Order

2 Roll Call: Mayor Pasquale, Trustees Ciavattone, Murphy, Holman, Robinson, Delgado, Nightengale

3 Pledge of Allegiance

4 Approve the Board Meeting Agenda

5 Committee Reports

a Community Development – Trustee Murphy, Chairman; Trustee Robinson, Member,

i Item C - The intergovernmental agreement provides for the construction and maintenance of the detention pond,

b Quality of Life – Trustee Holman, Chairman; Trustee Murphy, Member,

i Item A - The Village Board may establish the compensation of the corporate authorities at least 180 days prior to the new term of office for the respective elected officials in which there will be a change in said compensation,

c Public Works – Trustee Ciavattone, Chairman; Trustee Delgado, Member,

i Item B - The Public Works Department is in need of a replacement for its garbage truck in order to continue to provide supplemental services to the community,
