Maywood trustees consider proposed 2016-17 village budget

The Maywood Board of Trustees was expected to consider and possibly vote on the

Fiscal Year 2016/2017 Village of Maywood Budget at its meeting this week.

The board also was expected to discuss a proposal for the village to participate in the

15th Annual Comcast Cares Day Saturday, April 30, in partnership with Loyola Medical Center.

The board also was expected to discuss its ongoing efforts to complete annual certification for Federal Transit Administration (FTA) Assistance programs.

The board also was expected to consider a

request from Fire Chief Craig Bronaugh to officially recognize resident George Robinson's efforts to collect and deliver bottled water to residents in Flint, Michigan.
