The Fenwick Friars athletic summer camps are now accepting registrations for a variety of sports. The camps are divided by age group and experience, and the Fenwick High School coaching staff provides instruction to campers.

The baseball camps focus on the fundamentals, including catching, hitting, throwing and base-running. The camps will be held on the varsity baseball field in River Forest. Equipment is not provided, so campers must bring their own gear. Camps are divided by age groups: 7 to 11 and 12 to 14 years old.

Basketball camps are available for boys and girls in two sessions. Boys' camps are divided by grade level, from fifth to seventh grades and eighth to ninth grades. Girls' camps are divided into grades four to six and grades seven to nine.

Camps for high school football players include the Freshman Mini Camp and Z-Camps for varsity and sophomore players. Grade school players, from fifth to eighth grades, can test their skills at a free two-day camp on April 30 and May 1. Registration for the grade school camp ends on April 29.

The Fenwick Friars Youth Cheerleading Camp will teach cheerleading fundamentals to students in grades one through eight. The campers will hold a performance for parents at 11:30 a.m. on July 26.

Fenwick also offers cross country, lacrosse, soccer, softball, swimming, tennis, volleyball and wrestling camps. The brochure with details and costs of camps can be viewed here
