Westchester library board discusses fiscal 2016-17 budget

The Westchester Library Board of Trustees discussed the library's fiscal 2016-17 budget at its March 14 meeting.

The trustees also discussed a solar power grant, heard an update on library improvements, and reviewed its policies for volunteers, exhibits, literature displays and distribution, and investments.

The trustees plan to discuss a website redesign and a mechanical master plan at its next meeting, scheduled for 7 p.m. Monday, March 28, at the library, 10700 Canterbury St.

The Westchester Library board of trustees includes President Cathy Kuratko, Vice President John Lamberti, Secretary Heather Susnik, Secretary, Treasurer Gerald Chenski, Demitrus Evans, Jenice Hampton, and Sandy Laszkiewicz.
