The Maywood Public Library District board reviewed several of the library's basic policies at a meeting this week, including its policy against sexual harassment.
The board discussed its policy on unescorted minors in the library, as well as its meeting-room policy.
The board also discussed its mission statement.
The board also held an executive session to consider an ordinance that calls for providing health insurance for retirees.
The library's board of directors includes President Rose Mosley, Treasurer Tanya Butler, Secretary Socorro Vina, Jose Galarza, Elliot Wimbush and Tom Molony.
