The Westchester School District 92.5 voted at a recent meeting to approve a superintendent recommendation to appoint Robert Fritch to lead the district's fiscal 2017 budget-crafting process.
Fritch is the district's director of finance and operations.
Fritch will be in charge of presenting the board with a draft budget for fiscal year 2017. The board did not specify a timetable for a first draft.
The board was unanimous in its approval of the appointment.
